Dino Practices Drafting with his Berner Friends in San Francisco!

That is the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and Dino is looking straight at the Palace of Fine Arts.

This park is on the grounds of the Letterman Digital Arts Center, which is the former grounds of the Letterman Army Hospital. This is the first time I have been here since the new buildings were put in.

I was amazed how seamless the entire area was with the surrounding original Presidio buildings. A person walking through the area without prior knowledge of what used to be there would barely notice the difference. As a San Francisco native, I knew the hospital had been torn down and new buildings were put in, but I was not fully aware of the scope of the project.

It was stunning! If anybody gets a chance to go there, it will be well worth the trip! There is a lot of hiking and walking all around and stunning views and places to visit within a short distance. For Starbucks fans, there is even a spacious shop there with a large outdoor patio looking over the park and lagoon.

Thanks to the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Northern California for holding a Drafting seminar and practice in this wonderful location.

Here is the link to the Wikipedia article about the new center and the old hospital:
