Some of Dino's accomplishments as a tracking dog for lost pets.

Some of Dino's accomplishments as a tracking dog for lost pets.

With a tracking dog, a highly experienced, trained, awarded, titled, accomplished and hard-working search dog by the name of Dino, he can track your lost pet from their last known location in the exact direction of their travel. In 2012 and 2013, he won Honorable Mentions in a national Search and Rescue awards competition, winning out over several hundred dogs. Here is his blog: http://dinostraining.blogspot.com/.

Here is a link to a recent article about Dino and me helping a client find her lost dog in San Francisco.

Dino can follow a scent up to 30 days old and we can also get scent articles from multi-pet households, despite a couple of minor incorrect statements in the article.

He has been involved in the recovery of many lost animals including George, a former research Beagle, lost for six days in Pescadero, and found in less 20 minutes. Axl, a black and tan terrier mix, lost in San Francisco for two days, and found in less than 30 minutes. After two hours, Karma, a Pit Bull mix was found stuck in a dry creek bed in Central California, near Atascadero, after being lost for five days. Snickers, a Miniature Australian Shepherd, lost for a week, tracked over several days and over 30 miles within Silicon Valley to the location where she was still found running loose. Flower, an English Bulldog, was missing for five days in Hercules, and found just at the beginning of the search within a half mile from her home. Cookie, an indoor only cat in Oakland, was found in 15 minutes after being lost for several hours. Mina, an indoor only cat in Oakland, was found in an hour after being lost for five days. Sweet Pea, missing in Hayward for over three months, was found in the area where Dino had originally track him to after his person posted flyers all over the area, and the person called who had been feeding him. And many, many more!
